A photo attacked by mold

This apparently very well preserved photo had an area almost completely ruined by mold.

The photograph had been kept in a frame in which an Egyptian papyrus had previously been exhibited.

Evidently there were particles that slowly attacked the emulsion of the photo causing the deterioration of the image. In some places the damage was serious enough.

Below is the result of the restoration.
